How does it work?
NAERSA has been collecting employee information from PSRs sent over a 13 week period
NAERSA will determine the employee's eligibility and communicate this to the employer.
The instruction is sent to the employers by way of an AEPN – (this works in the same way as an RPN)
TPM & BP will then enrol the employee into the scheme –
NAERSA will receive information in respect of new employees when an employment is registered with Revenue.
How does the information get to NEARSA ?
The payroll systems will create a AECS to be submitted
This works in the same way as a PSR – it must be sent before the pay date
AEPN Details
Are recorded in the employee’s file
BrightPay has an option for users to send AE information letters to their employees
