What is TimeKeeper?
TimeKeeper is a cloud-based time and attendance system designed to work with BrightPay. It allows you to:
- Record employee clock-in/clock-out times
- Track hours worked, overtime, and breaks
- Manage approvals for timesheets
- Send approved hours directly into BrightPay for payroll processing
From the first clock-in to the final payslip, TimeKeeper keeps your payroll running smoothly by making sure the hours you use in BrightPay are accurate and up to date.
How the TimeKeeper–BrightPay Integration Works
Once you connect TimeKeeper to BrightPay:
Employees clock in and out
Employees record their time in TimeKeeper (for example, via mobile app, tablet, or web, depending on your TimeKeeper setup).-
TimeKeeper tracks and calculates hours
TimeKeeper handles:- Total hours worked
- Overtime calculations
- Breaks and other adjustments
- Any approvals required before payroll
-
Approved hours are sent to BrightPay
When you’re ready to run payroll, you can send the approved hours from TimeKeeper directly to BrightPay.- No manual keying of timesheets
- Reduced risk of errors
- Faster processing of payroll
Payroll is processed in BrightPay
BrightPay uses the imported hours to calculate employee pay as normal, including overtime and other pay elements.
