Check Your Access Rights
- You must be an Administrator or Owner on the Organisation in BrightPay Cloud.
- You must also be an Administrator on the Connect account.
- **Note If you are only a payroll processor in BrightPay Cloud (even if you have administrator rights in Connect), you will see a blank screen with no employers available to select and will not be able to proceed.
- In this case, you need to request administrator or owner access on the BrightPay Cloud organisation.
Initiate the Import
- Once you have the correct permissions, log in to BrightPay Cloud.
- Navigate to Employer section > Employee Portal > Settings > More > Import Employee Portal Data from Connect.
- Select the option to import from Connect.
Please note: only employees will be able to see the imported documents and not the client or payroll user
Import the Documents
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the import process.
- Only employees whose Personal Public Service Number (PPSN) and email address match in both BrightPay Cloud and Connect will have their payroll and HR documents displayed in the Employee Self Service Portal (EESSP).
Verify Imported Documents
- After the import, check the EESSP (Employee Self Service Portal) to ensure the documents are visible for the relevant employees.
- If documents are missing, verify that the PPSN and email address match exactly in both systems.
