This release brings a significant set of new features and improvements to BrightPay Cloud for Ireland, including Revenue compliance reporting, expanded payroll analysis options, and a range of fixes to improve reliability and accuracy.
Employee Register ReportBrightPay Cloud now includes an Employee Register report, available under Employees > More > Employee Register. The report lists each employee's name, PPSN, address, and start and end dates of employment, alongside your employer name and tax registration number — providing the formal record that Irish employers are required to maintain under Revenue rules. Open Payslips in Analysis ReportsYou can now run analysis reports against the next open pay period, in addition to your existing reporting options. This gives you a forward-looking view of payroll data before the period is finalised, alongside the reports you already run today. BrightPay Cloud — Ireland |
More Payslip Availability Date OptionsYou now have more options for controlling when payslips become available to employees. In addition to existing options, you can now select a specific weekday or a specific day of the month as the availability date — giving you greater control over when employees can view their payslips in the Employee Portal. Batch Zeroise — Item-Level CustomisationWhen using Batch Zeroise, you can now choose exactly which rates, additions, and deductions to zeroise, rather than applying zeroise to whole categories. This gives you more precise control when making bulk adjustments across employees. BrightPay Cloud — Ireland |
Client Reference on Employer RecordA Client Reference field is now available on the employer record and appears as a selectable column on the bureau statistics report. This makes it easier to match employers to your own internal reference system. BrightPay Cloud — Ireland |
Delay a New Starter's First PayslipWhen adding a new starter, you can now set a First Pay Period that is different from their start date. This lets you push their first payslip to the next pay period where needed, giving you flexibility in how new starters are brought into the payroll run. BrightPay Cloud — Ireland |
Instructions Sent for Employee and Client Portal — Last Emailed Dates ShowingThe Employee Portal and Client Portal pages now show the date on which the portal guide was last sent to each employee or client, so you can see at a glance who has been contacted and when. BrightPay Cloud — Ireland |
A4 and Thesaurus Payslip TemplatesTwo additional payslip templates — A4 and Thesaurus — are now available in BrightPay Cloud for Ireland. Both templates appear in the template selection dropdown and can be used for payslip printing and distribution. BrightPay Cloud — Ireland |
Period Differences ReportThe Period Differences Report is now available in BrightPay Cloud for Ireland. This report lets you compare payroll figures side by side across two pay periods, making it easy to identify and review changes in pay — such as differences in gross pay, deductions, or net pay — from one period to the next.
