To remove an employee from your payroll, please first check that no payroll has been processed for them in any pay period. If payroll has already been run for the employee, you won’t be able to delete their profile for the current tax year; instead, you’ll need to mark them as a leaver.
If no payroll has been processed, you can delete their profile by selecting the employee under the Employees tab, clicking on the More option , and choosing Delete.
This is helpful if the employee was added to the wrong company by mistake or if they decided not to start employment.
