For added security, we recommend setting different passwords for each client.
To set a password, go to Employer > Client Details and enter your chosen password.
TO download a report”
- Go to Analysis and select your desired report.
- Click Run Report.
- Then, click Share > Download / Email Report Document
- You'll be prompted to secure the PDF either with:
a Client password or Other (free type field to enter your preferred password).
- BrightPay remembers your selection across all companies within the organization:
- The password box will be ticked by default, but you can change this if needed.
Note Once these steps have been completed, If a client password isn’t set in other companies, then BrightPay will automatically tick the password box by default. You can update or enter a different password for each company if you wish.
There is no way to set a default 'preference' location on BrightPay Cloud for downloads. If you wish to choose the location when downloading reports, you can change the settings on your browser to always ask where the file should be downloaded, so you can choose the folder location of your choice.
